Data deletion instructions

You can request deletion of RushPost account, workspace or Instagram integration data without signing in to this page. Igor Duca in Brazil handles these requests at duccaigor@gmail.com.

Stop the Instagram connection

  1. If you can sign in to RushPost, open Canais (Channels), find the Instagram channel and choose Remover (Remove). This revokes the RushPost connection and replaces its stored access token.
  2. In Instagram, open Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites. Find RushPost-IG and remove its access. Instagram may use different menu labels depending on the app version.

Disconnection stops future access through the removed connection. It does not automatically erase your RushPost drafts, media, analytics records or previously published posts.

Request deletion of stored RushPost data

  1. Email duccaigor@gmail.com with the subject “RushPost data deletion request”.
  2. Provide your RushPost account email, the workspace name and, if relevant, the Instagram username. Explain whether you want to delete a social connection's data, your account data or workspace content.
  3. We will verify your identity and authority over the requested data. We may ask for limited additional information to avoid deleting another user's data. Never send passwords, access tokens or identity documents unless a specific verification method has been agreed with you.
  4. After verification, we will process the request and confirm the outcome. If a record must be retained for an applicable legal obligation or security reason, we will explain that restriction. Backup copies may remain until their retention period ends.

For a shared workspace, removing a member does not erase content that belongs to the workspace. The request must identify the intended data and be authorized by the relevant account or workspace owner.

What happens to published Instagram content?

Deleting RushPost data does not remove posts already published on Instagram or another social network. Manage those posts directly on the social network. Its own data retention and deletion policies apply.
